Hello Everyone,
I would like to encourage all of our members to try and attend one of the six community engagement sessions that begin on Monday, October 2. At these sessions, the Facilities committee will be sharing construction plans and finance options for massive improvements to our District 95 buildings (including AIR CONDITIONING).
At these sessions, the rationale and financing options will be presented and participants will have an opportunity to give feedback on design options and ask questions about the entire process. Having been a part of the Forward 95 process and the facilities committee, I can assure you that these are improvements that we teachers can support. We would love to see as many teachers as possible attend a session. It’s important that our membership is informed, and quite frankly, there are a number of improvements that we can be very excited about.
All sessions will run from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Here are the dates and locations:
- October 2 at Middle School South
- October 3 at Sarah Adams
- October 4 at May Whitney
- October 5 at Lake Zurich High School
- October 10 at Seth Paine
- October 11 at Middle School North / Spencer Loomis
